With more than 20 years experience fishing the Chesapeake Bay, Captain Rick knows how to catch everything that swims in the bay. Whether trolling or chumming, jigging or bottom fishing, Captain Rick consistently finds the fish. Operating primarily out of the Happy Harbor in Deale, MD, we'll move the boat later in the season to get closer to the fish if need be. We start fishing in mid-April when the trophy rockfish leave their spawning rivers, and end in late fall when the big fish return to the Bay during the fall run. So give us a call to reserve your day out on the beautiful Chesapeake.The Miss Margaret is a 42' Baybuilt Custom Paul Jones and she is fully equipped. Twin 350 HP Caterpillar, Heated, Restroom, Spacious and Comfortable, Full USCG Inspected up to 22 Passesngers.   Clean as a whistle!

Capt. Rick,
I just wanted to thank you again for our trip on June 13th. (Friday The 13th!!)  All of the 'kids' from 9 to 67 had had a day of memories that they will never forget!! Jeremy (9) was adopted from Russia a few years ago said he would never forget this day! And Joey (15) has Muscular Dystrophy said he felt like one of the 'guys'. Bill (Joey's dad) was a little unsure before the trip about letting him go,after the trip he asked when were we going again.  Please pass on our thanks to Jeff.          Captain Rick Blackwell knows how to catch anything that swims in the bay.  Captain Rick Blackwell grew up on the Chesapeake Bay.  He has been fishing and crabbing for over the 40 years.  He can smell a fish or crab a mile away.

 Rick is married and has three daughters, twin granddaughters and 5 Labs. Whether trolling, chumming or bottom fishing, Captain Rick consistently finds the fish!  Call for local Chesapeake Bay fishing reports and charter boat services.  We cater to large church groups.
